Blackstone Prison is a prison built on top of a powerful mana warp in Sioux Nation (near the town of Sydney), to imprison dangerous awakened criminals. It was constructed in 2035 by the Star's Penal Department over a 1 kilometer in diameter mana warp and operated by Mitsuhama Computer Technologies. The Sioux Bureau of Justice granted Mitsuhama with a special license to run Blackstone as a "mage prison"
The prison contains circles of cleansing to keep the small group of workers safe. Workers are rotated regularly due to the long term effects, like depression, due to the warp . The warp also plays havoc with the wireless communications and scrambles up technomancers.
