History[]

In 2010 4 million (one-third of the population) dies to VITAS. Mostly children under the age of 17.[3]

In 2011 when UGE hits, with the low population of infants, they're just happy to have children at all.[3]

In 2014, Fidel Castro steps down and the Cuban government collapses. The Mafia takes over Cuba in the chaos. Lady Guadalupe Martinez starts a new revolution with Neo-Communist ideals and takes control of Cuba from the Mafia in a surprisingly bloodless revolution.

in 2022 the Caribbean League is founded to prevent corporate control of the islands. [4][3]

In 2032 Puerto Rico secedes from the United States and joins the Caribbean League. It also becomes renamed Borinquen.[3]

In December of 2034 South Florida joins the league. [5]

In 2046, Lady Guadalupe steps down as President of the Caribbean League and gives control to her son, Enrique Martinez.

In 2057 President Dunkelzahn leaves a years' worth of dragon nail clippings to the current head houngan of the Caribbean League.

On October 15th, 2058; Nadja Daviar gives the Caribbean League until December 31, 2060, to decide who the leader houngan is to gain Dunkelzahn's bequest.[3]

In 2060, there is no clear head houngan, but it becomes down to two candidates.

In 2061, arrival of shedim causes "a bit of an uproar" [6]

In 2063, the Draco Foundation declares Justin Rochefort the winner and head houngan. Before he could claim the talons his plane crashes in the CAS. Marcus Cross is appointed as his successor but is later arrested in Houston on charges of necromancy.[3]

In 2064, the Voice of Ogoun splits in two. The original members follow the imprisoned Marcus Cross, while the splinter group called the Voice of Agwe follows Claude-Michael Flaubert.[3]

In 2067 Ray Martinez wins the presidency after his uncle, the then current President, Enrique Martinez fell to his death and drowned.[7]

In 2071, Marcus Cross is freed and confronts Claude-Michael Flaubert in Trinidad. After an impressive magical duel; Cross defeats Flaubert. Ogoun speaks through Cross to reunite the organization.[3]

In 2072, Marcus Cross is declared the leader of the Voice of Ogoun. The Draco Foundation sends the talons from Dunkelzahn's bequest, which were subsequently lost at sea during a freak (and possibly magically induced) storm.[3]

August 18, 2074, Hurrican Donald and Sirrurg both land in Borinquen and destroy the NatVat facility, as well as devastating most of the island.[3]
