The Corpselight (also known as will o' wisp) has no taxonomic identification since even the experts cannot come to a consensus on the creature. It appears as a ball of light, bluish-white in color that floats about 2 meters off the ground. It moves slowly, but has been known to quickly move to trap prey. Although not apparently sentient, it does drain life from its victims much like metahumans infected by HMHVV.

Corpselights are usually solitary, seen in isolated, desolate areas. However, clusters of six or more corpselights have been reported.
