NewsNet (NN) is a Seattle media company owned by the Horizon Group. Originally operated by Turner Network Television, and later by Hisato-Turner Broadcasting Corporation In the 2050s NewsNet was among the last among the large TV and trid networks who dared to practice traditional investigative journalism and send controversial (read: not pro-corp) reports on the airwaves. In 2057 it received two million nuyen from the estate of the Great Dragon Dunkelzahn for the production of a documentary about the circumstances of his death and the events surrounding his death. After the Second Crash it was acquired by Horizon.
