Corporate Hierarchy[]

The whole point of a Corporate Hierarchy section is to show how these divisions are controlled and how far the octopus-like structure extends. If I could add little lines to each, I would, but I can't, so we have to use bullets. I do understand adding the HQ and executive officers, and I'd like to have a small paragraph description for each major division, but I'll need to look into a style that combines both. For right now, let's go ahead and stick to single line descriptions.--YoungFreud 01:20, 14 Oct 2004 (Eastern Daylight Time)

Personally, I think it looks terribly jumbled and disorganized as it currently is, which is why I made the layout change in the first place. I can see why you'd want it the way it is now, but I think it looks terribly disorganized. There has to be a better way of organizing the info without losing the hierarchy structure and without making a mess...

Would you prefer I just broke it up into a second section with subvidision information spearate from the hierarchy ?

Yeah, for now. I'm going to experiment in the sandbox a bit to see if a better looking compromise can be met. I'd rather keep the division stuff inside Corporate Hierarchy, but if I can't, it probably would be best to spin off a new section. If so, we might want to limit it to top tier divisions, because the underdivisions might end up getting more cluttered.--YoungFreud 12:25, 14 Oct 2004 (Eastern Daylight Time)
Right now, Corporate Hierarchy and Subsidiaries seem to cover the same information. Should we just toss the Subsidiaries entry since it seems to be covered by the hierarchy? --msde 16:24, 14 Oct 2004 (Eastern Daylight Time)
Yeah, Nath did that. I'm planning to restore most of it, with canon references to branches and divisions under corporate hierarchy, plus the hierarchial information listed (such as Ares CFS). Subsidiaries, for the most part, will be listed seperately and include canon references to subsidiaries, as they, except in special cases, are run differently from the major operation. The reason why this is for several, in-game reasons like compartmentalization and tax purposes.--YoungFreud 22:07, 14 Oct 2004 (Eastern Daylight Time)

I added a sidebar that summarizes the statistics as taken from Corporate Download. The template is named corpbox. If there's anything else you'd like to see in the sidebar, let me know. --Jon Szeto 22:38, 14 Dec 2005 (EST)
